I am back!

Dear blogging world, I am back! I know it has been months and months since my last post, I just have been trying to finish my senior year... So here is the exciting news since I do not have an outfit to post today, after I get home from Nicaragua in two weeks I'll be back to my weekly posts!! Yay!! I hope you have not forgotten about me!!!

So I finally saw some spring; which means it is right around the corner! I couldn't be more happy! It was time to start shedding those horrible layers! I am beginning to hate this winter so much!

 I stole the bow dress from my sister, but added the cardigan and sweater since it was still a tad chilly.

I am getting such a style block with this weather, I feel as if I have to wear the same thing over and over again since it is so cold! Anyone agree with me? Most would say that seeing the "beautiful" snow would give them the opportunity for fantastic layers, but I could not disagree more! I need spring and summer to come NOW! Oh well, I feel like I'm complaining too much! 

On a happier note, I found out that I got into a college that is only 20 minutes from New York City! Things are truly looking up! I can still have the opportunities to intern in the city! YAY!

Winter Wonderland?

  As most know, this winter has been horrendous! I have spent every waking second this winter trying to find clothes that not only keep me warm, but also have some sort of fashionable flair. I feel like this ensemble has encompassed both of those things.
  I am really loving the trend of cuffed shorts with tights. It makes it so easy to transition summer/spring clothes into fall/winter clothes. But I'm ready to put away the winter sweaters and bring out the summer dresses!!! Spring needs to get here sooner!

 So the lack of pictures is because it was the first time I ever used a tripod!! I have never felt more awkward! Hopefully as time goes by I will get more comfortable with it! 

Blast from the past.

I thought that I would share some pictures from when I went to Greece and Italy a few summers ago. It was the greatest time of my life. I got to tour around and experience the Greek and Italian cultures. My advice to you is if you go to these countries in the summer, WEAR FLOWING CLOTHES! I would have died of heat exhaustion, if I didn't where dresses everyday.

Most of the pictures are of the gorgeous scenery, a few of what I wore while there. I hope to go back there one day to live! It would be so amazing! The fashion there is so magnificent and the people are great!

current obsessions: fringe boots

 Sorry for my lack of posts lately! I find that I am horrible at consistency of posts. Anyways! 

 I recently received my final Christmas gift. They were apparently put on backorder because they were so magnificent! My parents got be a pair of beautiful fringe boots! They are so comfortable and makes me want to dance around a fire of something. 

 The boots were paired with a Revival necklace, Target hat, Forever 21 skirt, and TJMaxx Tights

 I wore them for the first time when I went to this meeting at the Akron Public Library. Since reading is my favorite thing to do, I find it incredibly appropriate to have taken these pictures in the library. My dad and I went around with a nice security guard to take all the pictures. It was truly such a fantastic setting.

Happy (belated) New Year, my dears!!!! I got to spend my evening with all my closest friends, and let me tell you, it was fantastic!!

holidays review

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! It is always so grand to spend time with family. 

Christmas eve I spent with my grandma, and I wore my fur vest there. I got it a year ago and never even put it on... I guess it was time I pull it out of my closet and show it off!

Christmas day was a day of fashion in  my household. Everyone sported their new clothes to spend the day. I know it is a bit late for a Christmas post, but I was too busy with all the fun festivities.
