We All Want to Change the World

For as long as  I can remember I have liked leather. You can truly style it in so many ways. I mean, yeah, sometimes you have to be careful not to look a show girl, but when styled correctly it can be so chic.

I know I am behind on the trend, but I just discovered the website polyvore. I love how you can pair together ANYTHING! It is a good way to make inspiration boards. I know I can't afford most of these items, but a girl can dream, right? Never be a afraid to dream.

Have a fantastic Leap Day!

Time are Changing

Spring time weather seems to have come to Long Island early. The past few days have been gorgeous! I cannot begin to tell you how fantastic it is to not have to bundle up in an abundance of sweaters, coats, and scarves.

Since the weather is changing it up, I thought I would too. Instead of going with my normal dress, cardigan, and tights look; I decided it was time to wear pants for a change. I paired my American Eagle black skinnies with a fantastic shirt that I got for Christmas, my Zara sweater, and the boots that I have come to realize I wear almost everyday. I always feel like I should switch it up a bit, but I can't bring myself to do that. Do you have an item of clothing, shoes or accessories that you constantly wear?

Thanks for reading everyone! Now I leave you with my favorite song by Margot and the Nuclear So and So's.

Have a beautiful weekend.

I think I'll go to Boston

Being a long weekend, my friends and I decided to make our way to Massachusetts. On Saturday we went into Boston and I am pretty sure it is now one of my favorite cities even if I was only there for a few hours. It is so completely different from New York. It is incredibly chill and relaxed. Everyone had such killer style. I wish I could have had more time there since it was so amazing!

It was such a perfect day to walk around the city. The sun was shining and it wasn't even that cold! So I opted to wear my feathered dress from Francesca's that my little sister got for me. I paired it with my favorite boots, bomber jackets, and my new bag that I got from justfab courtesy of the IFB conference.

Everyone, before you die make it to this city! It is fantastic!

All You Need is Love

Happy belated Valentine's Day everyone! I hope everyone had a fantastic day full of flowers, chocolates, and love! For me, I never really liked the holiday. I am not one of those girls who hates it not to have a valentine, I am just the girl who thinks you should showcase your love for one another everyday of the year.

For this lovely day, I didn't go with the "normal" Valentine's Day uniform color of pink and red seeings how I do not own a lot of that. Instead I went with one of my favorite sweater dresses that I got from a little boutique in the city last year. I am in love with interesting shapes in clothing, and this dress is just that. The oversized collar and circled pockets on the sides. You don't see things like that too often. I paired them with my leather leggings and the boots that I am clearly a little too obsessed with. I

I hope you all had a fantastic day and spent it with the ones you love!
lots of love,

Darling I'm Tired

I have recently been obsessed with maxi skirts. I think they are so fantastic and elegant. This one in particular I got at a boutique called Francesca's Collection. Everything there is so classic. When I saw this item I couldn't pass it up, even though it was a large. I paired it with one of my favorite T's that I got at a vintage shop in Akron and my go to boots.  I was also told that I looked like Mrs. Lovett from "Sweeney Todd." I thought it was one of the best compliments. I mean she was played by Helena Bonham Carter, also known as my hero!

Thank you all for reading!

IFB conference

Yesterday I had the most amazing opportunity to go to the IFB conference. It was truly an amazing experience. Not only did I get to meet some of my favorite bloggers from cupcakes and cashmere and bryanboy but I also got to meet other aspiring bloggers as well. The energy in the room was incredible! There were young and old bloggers, but everyone seemed equal and eager to learn how to make their blogs even better! I cannot wait till next season's conference!

As for my outfit of the day, I took a while to deliberate what to wear. I mean it was a FASHION blogger's conference so it was a very serious decision. In the end I went with one of my favorite dresses. I got it in Thailand in a hot mall (which are pretty much little shops where the designers are sitting there sewing the dresses in front of you).  The color and the fit I think is perfect. I paired it with my Topshop boots and Modcloth fur coat.

I hope if you ever have the opportunity to go to this conference, that you go for it! It really is amazing! Thanks for reading, loves!

The Answer is Blowing in the Wind

I love exploring the campus for perfect location for pictures. I think it is fantastic that it looks so secluded from the world, but in reality it is just off the beaten path. Since it was semi warm today I didn't have to go with so many layers.. I just paired my favorite high waisted shorts with my Ralph Lauren sweater and my favorite Aldo ballet flats.

Tomorrow is the Independent Fashion Blogger's conference in the city! It is going to be so amazing to hear and see all the bloggers I admire so much. I can't wait to tell you all about it. The only problem is I have no idea what to wear! Wish me luck!

your path is true just ease your mind

It is another beautiful day in New York. Though it is a little cold the sun is shining and it makes me want to stay outside all day! Gillie and went on a search for the perfect place to take pictures.. Luckily we did not have to resort to the brick wall... We found this adorable little nook with some adorable foliage and benches.

Though these boots have definitely seen better days, they are perfect for walking around campus. I paired them with this purple dress, which would be perfect for spring due to the lack of back, and my go to Zara sweater.

Thanks for reading, loves! Have a beautiful day.

peter pan and pilgrims.

I can't believe what glorious weather we have been having. It is January and I do not have to wear a jacket.. I could live like this forever. For a day of running to and from classes I decided on this fantastic little black dress. I cannot begin to say how much I am obsessed with peter pan collars. They are to die for! I paired it with my Zara sweater and Topshop boots to finish the look off.

Since it was such a beautiful day, my friend Gillie and I decided to take advantage of the weather and take pictures outside. Though it is not stunning, this little archway was a perfect place to show off the outfits.

have a wonderful day and thanks for reading, loves.
